Making Worms Activity at Here We Grow Daycare & OSC

At Here We Grow Daycare & OSC Ltd., we love creating fun, meaningful, and hands-on learning experiences for our children. Our recent Making Worms activity was full of excitement, creativity, curiosity, and happy smiles.

Our Kinder and OSC friends had so much fun mixing, squishing, exploring textures, and creating their very own colourful worms. Activities like this help children learn through play while building important early development skills in a natural and enjoyable way.

Learning Through Hands-On Play

Children learn best when they are actively involved. During this activity, they used their hands, imagination, and creativity to explore different textures and colours. This type of sensory play encourages curiosity and helps children understand the world around them through touch, movement, and discovery.

The children enjoyed every step of the activity, from mixing materials to shaping their colourful worms. It was a wonderful way to keep them engaged while supporting their learning in a fun and playful environment.

Building Creativity and Confidence

Making their own worms gave children a chance to use their imagination and express themselves. Each child created something unique, which helped build confidence and a sense of accomplishment.

Through simple and fun activities like this, children develop important abilities without even realizing they are learning.
